Core Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled and personable bartender to join our wedding venue team. The bartender plays a crucial role in ensuring our guests have a memorable and enjoyable experience. They are responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages while maintaining a high level of customer service and professionalism. Our ideal bartender will be a friendly, reliable, and knowledgeable professional who can contribute to the success of our wedding venue by providing exceptional service to our guests.

• Mix, garnish, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and venue standards.

• Maintain an organized and well-stocked bar, ensuring all necessary ingredients and supplies are readily available.

• Greet guests with a friendly and welcoming attitude & friendly and approachable demeanor with excellent communication skills.

• Provide excellent customer service by taking drink orders, making recommendations, and ensuring prompt and accurate service & engage with guests to provide a high level of service.

• Verify the age and identification of guests to ensure compliance with legal drinking age regulations & maintain familiarity with local and state alcohol regulations.

• Monitor and limit alcohol consumption as needed to promote responsible drinking and safety & and have the ability to assess guests' intoxication levels and make responsible decisions regarding alcohol service.

• Maintain a clean and sanitary bar area, including regular cleaning of equipment, glassware, and utensils.

• Adhere to health and safety guidelines, including proper handling of alcohol and food products.

• Handle cash and process payments accurately.

• Collaborate with other staff members, including servers and kitchen staff, to ensure seamless service.

• Assist in setting up and breaking down the bar area for events.

• Ensure that you have cleaned and put away all glassware and bar tools.

• Assist the rest of the team with clean up/reset duties until the end of your shift.

Requirements

The following items are required to be accepted for the position, no exceptions:

• Previous bartending experience in a similar setting is preferred.

• Valid RBS Certificate or willingness to obtain one.

• Knowledge of mixing techniques, drink recipes, and beverage presentation.

• Must have a flexible schedule, be highly motivated and quality driven

• Must be at least 21 years of age

• Must be available at least three weekends a month

• Must be able to work full 8 hour shifts on your feet

• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
